~ Miss Phoebe ~
I searched for an Autumn poem to share and found this one written by Victoria Gauci in 1982. I found it quite apropos.
Enjoy!
Autumns In California
The hills in the horizon,
Smog in the distance,
A blue sky,
The sun high,
A pickup up truck rolls by,
Making a delivery,
Postman brings my letters,
And bills,
The green grass,
The neighbor's kids,
The paper boy on route,
There are no Autumns here,
Only summer,
And winter,
They both look the same,
I remember how
I used to play
In the leaves,
A happy child,
I remember it well...
In the autumns of my life.
Victoria Gauci
It will be back up in the high 80's again this weekend. Luckily, the evenings have been cooling down so there is a chance I may get to wear my boots!
Have a lovely weekend.

Phoebe looks phabulous! This is a very interesting poem and one that quite fits this native of Southern California til age 50 now Northern Californian. We do have beautiful Fall/Autumn colors here is Gold Country. Blessings dear...
Phoebe is just the sweetest darling dog. Lovely poem. Lucky you with the temperature in the 80's, its freezing here in the UK!! x

Wouldn't that make a nice Christmas card? Yes, Phoebe has perfected the look to a "T" (or should I say, to a "P"?). Hugs!
