Phoebe Has a New "Do"

Phoebe has the softest fur (it's actually considered hair on this breed).  I was growing her out quite long but brushing her a couple times of day was just a lot for both of us to endure. So I decided to have her trimmed really short but of course keeping her big beautiful Bichon head!  We love her like this because she looks like a cartoon character!

~ Oh how I love those sweet eyes ~

Phoebe got to meet her new best friend today!  Our dear friend Debra rescued her little Angie from the rescue we got Phoebe from.  If you're in the L.A. (or not), be sure and check out this wonderful rescue called Bichons and Buddies.

I tried and tried to get some good pictures of the girls playing together.  But as you can see they were in their own playland and were not interested in posing for the camera.

Here she is... Miss Angie.  Isn't she precious?

Debra loves her so much.

And I do too!  Angie has such a similar temperament as Phoebe.  They are both happy and loving little dogs with big personalities!

I'm loving all your doggy shots... Phoebe is precious - as are her buddies. I get the pet-love....whether girl or boy, dog or cat, they add so much to our lives. Can't imagine life without a pet!

LOVE Ms Phoebe's NEW DO!!!!!!!!!! Elle goes to the beauty parlor at 7AM tomorrow & it's not a minute too soon as she has gotten to be such the shabby girl! As you said that brushing is a pain! And I know the girls are cooler in hot weather when they are trimmed. Phoebe & Angie were soooooooooooo cute running running running! They really didn't have time to ham it up for the camera! ENJOY! HUGS!

Hi Holly, thanks so much for coming by! Maddie just got her summer do, and she looks almost exactly like Miss Angie! Too funny. What sweet pics of the girls, playing and romping. They love it so much, to have a friend to rumble and tumble with, so they can be dogs for a few minutes, then back to being our girls! Big personalities for sure. Riki xoxo

Mom once had what was supposed to be a white cockapoo, but whenever she was groomed she looked just like a bishon. And Mom loved the big puffy head too.

Phoebe will over her new do for the summer.

How cute! Phoebe looks like my Chloe in that second picture. Love her new "do," Holly. Angie is adorable, and so glad Deb is happy to give her a loving home. Have a wonderful week! Are you doing anything crafty this week? After I get some regular work-work done today, I plan to start on a few of my embellished cards.

Hi Holly! I love Phoebe's new "do"!! I did the same thing with the girlz this week...they are both very short...it is a bit hard to tell in the latest photo...but it seems their hair grows so FAST!!! MUCH faster in the summer! Your friend's little one is very cute too!! So glad she rescued. There are so many more that need homes....I wish I could adopt a couple more, but my husband says NO! Hope you are having a great week!!

Thank you so much for visiting my blog. This is my first time at yours :) I think you have the cutest little pooch -- and I thought it was so funny that you mentioned he looked like a cartoon character. I also liked your photo of the ballerinas in a teacup -- very creative. You have a lovely blog -- I will be back.

Bichons are just great dogs. My brother has one, I enjoyed spending the weekend there with him and his Bella. She loved to pose and I got to even dress her up in white angel wings to take photos. She just ate it up, like the angel she is, she pranced and showed off and knew she was a beauty.
